badass
Title: Badass In My Bed (Badass #1)
Author: Rae Lynn Blaise
Summary:
Rachel’s life is music. She plays it, she lives it, she breathes it. And next week she’ll start playing her cello with the Boston Symphony, which isn’t exactly the kind of music career she wanted, but one that will make her father happy. And her happy enough.

But the weekend before she leaves for Boston, she meets Dylan. Tattoos. Biceps. Killer smile. Hard cock. Total badass. It’s a surprise that he’d ever be interested in her, but he is. He goes against everything she ever wanted in a man… or, thought she wanted. But it’s only for one night, right?

Review:

Get this serial on your radar people, you shall regret nothing. I am near combustion with need for book 2.

The sex is electric and will strike a chord you didn’t even know could be played. I am now convinced that window sex is the best sex. Completely hot and sinful, Dylan is sexy as fuck. Holy Rocker. sheeeeesh.

Rachel’s a serious kind of girl – she’s a little bit naive, but not so much that it drove me batshit crazy. She’s basically just your average good girl that is trying to do what she thinks she’s supposed to do in life. She doesn’t take risks – everything is planned, calculated and safe. But she’s about to leave everything she knows in Chicago and join the Boston Symphony Orchestra and she’s terrified. Her life is changing dramatically and while this is what she’s pretty sure she thinks she’s supposed to do, she has doubts.

Alex, best friend extraordinaire and and incredibly bad (or good?) influence, decides that Rachel needs one last night out on the town before she leaves. She also thinks Rachel needs a good fuck-off, I mean send-off…no, wait, I really meant fuck-off. So when Alex sees Rachel eyeing up the hot badass rocker looking guy in the corner of the bar, she makes their presence known. What are friends for?

And then, it begins. I really love Rachel – she’s a nice balance of wholesome but not too naive, sweet but not a pushover, sexy but not a tramp. And Dylan. OHYMYGOD. He brings out a side of her that she didn’t even know existed. [He can bring that side out in me anytime]. He’s tattooed, gorgeous and while a little evasive, he seems like a really good guy. She and Dylan initially connect on a musical level (even though at that point Rachel doesn’t know why that’s so apt) before they connect on every other level. The sex is thrilling, hot, and adventurous without being over the top and silly, and the dirty talk is phenomenal. Obviously there’s a cliffhanger…this is a serial afterall, but it’s not too awful as cliffies go. I CANNOT WAIT for book 2.
