Promo Blitz & Review: Sexual Awakenings by Angelica Chase

You know what they say… One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. After sacrificing years of my life on a cheating husband, I’d had enough. I set out to quench a thirst I had ignored for years. I gave myself one year to explore my sexuality—to delve into my deepest, darkest desires. With nothing to lose and everything to gain, I would have my sexual revolution. I would have my … awakening.

Unsure of where to start, I took a risk to make myself seen. Little did I know, the man who saw me would give me everything I ever wanted, one sweet orgasm at a time.
Diving into the world of both pleasure and pain, I was sure with Rhys I had found what I’d been missing … until he took it away.

Weeks passed without hearing from Rhys; then I received a text that shook me to my core.

The Barracks. One hour. RED

I lied, he’s angry, and I’m about to pay for my lie with a pound of flesh.

RED.

I wasn’t supposed to fall for him. He blurred the lines and I stepped right over. Now I was facing his wrath, and my undeniable feelings for him. I had to find a way to make things right.

RED.

Rhys felt threatened by my secret, but little did I know, he was hiding one of his own.

Rhys

I was on my way out of the life when she came barging in with her new appetite and unrealistic expectations of what a Dom should be. All I had left to do to break free was sell the club and walk away. Now I found I had something to walk toward. And for the first time in my life, I hoped I’d be enough for a woman.

Caring for a woman was easy for me. I had always cared for different women for different reasons. Loving a woman had always been quite a bit harder.

Doms don’t have to say I love you.

Violet

The last two months of my life had altered me in ways I could never have imagined. When I set out to discover myself sexually, I never expected to fall in love with the only man who calmed my world and both tortured and soothed my senses. I’d been snapped out of my fantasy by the latest slap of reality.

Little did I know … reality wasn’t finished with me yet.

This is book three of a four part serial.
It’s not him, it’s her.

Violet

Rhys had just torn my heart apart with his admission. A common
bond—one that had completely ruined my former life and forever altered his—was once again threatening to destroy my world. I hate our pasts, and right now, I hate him for his.

Rhys

She blames me for the truth—a truth I had no idea existed.
I’ve tried to protect her from the ugliness that came with loving me. I don’t know if she will ever move on from what I never saw coming.

This is book four of a four part serial.

Holy mother of fuck. These books had me so hot I nearly slid off the couch. The Sexual Awakenings series consists of four novellas: The Waltz, The Tango, The Last Dance, & Curtains. Each of the first three novellas end with such a crazy cliffhanger that you will immediately need the next one. IMMEDIATELY.

Violet knows that her husband is cheating on her and has gone through the mourning process. She doesn’t know where things went wrong, but she just knows that the marriage is over. She’s waiting for the end of the year and then she’s asking for a divorce. Clean. Simple. Easy. She just wants out. She’s also incredibly bored. and horny. Which is how she finds herself on a website known as The Rabbit Hole. She’s ready to explore anything and everything and while she’s dying to embark in her first experience she has no idea where to start.

And then she gets a ping. The Mad Hatter wants to chat. and he wants to meet.

The Waltz explores Violet & Ryhs’ first interactions with one another. Rhys creates a few rules for Violet (I was sort of not down with those, btw, but they’re not harped on, so it’s ok) and begins to introduce her into a world that she never knew she’d love. Rhys doesn’t tolerate lies and the first novella ends with a major conflict and cliffhanger. (Note: Rhys should practice what he preaches. JUST SAYIN’).

The remaining three novellas whip through so many twist and turns my head was spinning. There is a Dom/sub undertone to this book, but it’s not all BDSM all the time, which was great. Angelica made these two believable, which is the sure sign of a great book.

I wasn’t sure that a story that starts out in a chatroom could have a whole lot of substance backing it up, but this one does. There is a real plot amongst all the incredibly incredibly hot sex. Rhys is sexy as fuck as both a Dom and in vanilla mode. I will take him any way I can get him. There are secrets and twists and turns in each novella that I never expected – these books had me guessing. I tore through these books in one night, gripping my kindle while frantically swiping through the pages. I was completely addicted and will certainly read anything else Angelica writes. I loved it!

YOU WANT THESE. GET THESE NOW. THEY ARE ON FUCKING SALE. For real.

tl;dr recommendation: You need to read this. Immediately. Go. READ IT. Now.

Longer Review:

Have you heard of Sierra Kincade? IF NOT, YOU HAVE NOW. In my opinion, she is one of the best new writers to break into this genre. And I really don’t say that about everyone. You need to read this book – then go follow her all over the interwebs (Website | Facebook | Twitter). She has that ever elusive ‘It’ thing, meaning – she can actually write really well – and I have a feeling that this is just the start of a long career. She’s also pretty funny on twitter, which is a major bonus.

The Masseuse is about – well, a Masseuse named Anna Rossi. She tends to move frequently before people can get close to her, but this time her most recent move landed her in Florida, near her BFF Amy. She wants to set up roots, but can she? She picks up a job as a masseuse at a salon and as part of the gig, she gets called out to perform a private massage for billionaire Max Stein. While at Max’s she meets hot and sexy body guard, Alec. AND SO IT BEGINS.

I FUCKING LOVE THIS BOOK. The writing style is exactly what I crave. Easy to love characters, a smart and confident woman, a strong and conflicted man + a little bit of danger. There isn’t anything much better than cheering for the main character as she kicks the shit out of someone. That was awesome. and Alec…..oh god. SOMEONE PLEASE FAN ME. Hot, protective, vulnerable, imperfect, loyal and just a GOOD PERSON. He’s dominant & possessive. He’s closed off, yet dying to break down. He’s PERFECT. When Anna & Alec come together…..instant fireworks. The heat radiated off the pages. I’m surprised my Kindle isn’t a little singed. you think I’m kidding, I’M NOT. THIS BOOK IS HOT.

elevatorsex_grande

Really though. What IS it about elevators?!?! I so love a good elevator scene & this book most definitely delivers.

I really enjoyed every second of this book & Sierra’s debut novel just hit it off the charts for me. It was similar in style to Lauren Blakely – and if you’ve seen my LB reviews, you know I love her writing. I was immediately drawn in to Anna’s wit and charm but then I was definitely sticking around as soon as Anna and Alec got together. Because, HOT. There was great character development, easy flow & transitions in the writing, and good dialogue between the characters. If you like a little mystery & danger mixed with your sex then you’ve stumbled upon the right book. This one gets five glowing stars. I CANNOT WAIT TO READ THE DISTRACTION.

OWMS’ top 10 Favorite Reads of 2014

Top 10 Fav Reads 2014 with words

What’s the end of the year without revisiting some of my favorite reads?

My criteria for making it on this list is:
1) I read it this year; and
2) I fucking loved it.

Side Note: I am aware that there are more than 10 books on this list. That’s why it says top ten favorites READS not BOOKS. 🙂 But seriously, can you really just pick one book out of a series that you love? No. The answer is No.

Let’s get down to business:

1. The Crossfire Series (1-4) by Sylvia Day

Ohgoodfuckingchrist. This series slays me. I cannot wait for book 5. I NEED TO KNOW what happens like I need air to breathe. I almost wish I were kidding. Gideon Cross is perfection and I’m dying for the HEA that I know is coming. Please Sylvia, don’t let us wait too long…

2. The Driven Trilogy by K. Bromberg

Not only is K. Bromberg the nicest, most genuine person on the planet, but she can also write. For me, Colton didn’t enter my heart inch by inch, he surrounded it from all sides and then infiltrated. It was almost so sudden that I wasn’t even aware how attached I was to Colton at first. You can check out my full review here. I’m also dying for her 2015 releases, but that’s for another post…

3. Dirty Rowdy Thing by Christina Lauren

Can we get a little innuendo up in here?! I am a sucker for wit, charm, steamy sex, and stubbornness. This book has ALL OF THAT and more. I did a review of DRT which you can find here that tells you in more detail why I’m so goddammned obsessed.

4. Beautiful Player by Christina Lauren

I fucking love Will Sumner. I actually just did a re-read of this book the other day because I needed a good pick-me-up and there’s nothing this book does more than that. It literally warms my soul. Not kidding. I can feel the warmth spread through my body as Will falls in love with Hannah. I LOVE THEM IMMENSELY.

5. The Stark Trilogy by J. Kenner

How have I not done a review of this series yet? Total fail on my part which I shall rectify as soon as possible. I love love love Damien Stark. He’s an alpha billionaire with secrets but there’s just so much more to him than that. His love for Nikki is so pure and perfect I could re-read these books weekly and be happy.

6. Songs of Submission Series by CD Reiss

This series caught me totally off guard in the best way possible. I’m not even sure how I found it, but I am SO happy I did. Jonathan is hot and sexy and CD Reiss really delivers with this series. I felt like I ran a marathon after reading these, but they were so worth every single step. You can read my full review here.

7. Archer’s Voice by Mia Sheridan

OH.My.God. This book is utterly fantastic. It really is. It’s a great standalone novel that you can whip through quickly and that leaves you thoroughly satisfied. I think it lived up to its hype. I Floved it. You can find my full review here.

8. Seductive Nights Series by Lauren Blakely

Julia and Clay are awesome. They interact so perfectly together and talk so dirty, which is one of my favorite combinations in main characters. It doesn’t hurt that there’s some spanking, cuffing, and other fantastic debauchery involved. Haven’t read it? Put that shit on your list. And read my full review here.

9. One Night Trilogy by Jodi Ellen Malpas

These are the books that took me out of a book dry spell. After I thought something was wrong with me, that maybe I could never love another book again, these snuck up on me and made me FEEL. I really loved them. And here’s another that I need the rest of the story for….[FebruaryFebruaryFebruary…]. Full review found here!

10. Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover

Holy mother of god. Colleen Hoover is the only author who makes me sob horrible, nasty, unattractive tears. This is one of my very favorite books this year and gave me the hugest book hangover. I spent most of the time reading this attempting to hide my ugly crying while sitting on the couch with my husband. I was unsuccessful. It’s a beautiful story. Gorgeous. I really can’t say enough about it other than you need to read it. And ideally not in a public place, unless you’re totally ok with tears streaming down your face in public. If so, go forth. HAVE TISSUES NEARBY. And read my review here.

2014 was really a great year for me. Things keep getting better and better and so do the books! I hope you all have a great NYE & let’s get ready for 2015!

#DrunkReading, The Hangover – Songs of Submission Series

sosreadingorder

Book:   Songs of Submission Series by CD Reiss

There are seven parts to this series (technically 8 w/ the extras in Dominance) I’m reviewing it as a whole because I cannot separate the gloriousness of the entire story.

Beg, Tease & Submit come in a bundle. I recommend buying the bundles because not only will you save money, but you will want/need immediate access to the next part of the story.

Control. Burn & Resist shall be your next necessary purchase.

THEN comes Sing.

Dominance is an extra 70 pages of juicy bits you’ll likely crave after you’re done.

Have I read it before?:  Nope. but I will again.

What did I drink?:  Chardonnay. I have a love affair with dry white wine. I drank it out of my new mug that says ‘I like my drinks strong & my books smutty’ 😉

How do I feel:  Good! happy I didn’t drink more since I was ready to pass out at 10pm anyway.

General Thoughts:

This is one series where the covers of the books actually drew me in. They’re beautiful and sexy and simple. They actually made me want to buy the books. If the covers of these books don’t do it for you, I’m not sure any covers will. Besides the perfect artwork (which is totally frameworthy), this story is amazing. I have no idea how many pages the entire series equals but at the end of last night I felt like I had just finished a marathon. I was exhausted but totally satisfied.

SOS1

Monica is a struggling waitress/singer in LA. She lives with her best friend and roommate Gabby in a run down house in Echo Park and pays minimal rent to her mother. She dated Darren, Gabby’s brother, for like twelve thousand years, but they’re just friends now. After Darren, Monica dated Kevin Wainwright – a very good looking artist who is now up and coming himself; however, Monica walked out on him a year and a half ago and since then she’s suffering from self-imposed celibacy, focusing instead on her music.

And then we meet Jonathan Drazen. Sweet mother of Christ he is fucking delicious. From the very beginning he kept me on my toes. He was mostly honest but still hid behind a mask. He would do or say exactly what I thought he would, but then in the next second, I’d be thrown for a loop. It was refreshing to read and scorchingly hot to imagine.

Full disclosure, I started this series on Friday while I was at work. I was super busy, but I kept taking five minute breaks here and there to read a chapter. It was my motivation.

By Friday night I had finished Tease. and the way it ends will throw you into a little rage.

I really did workout on Friday night (I’m basically the coolest person on earth) and it really did help fuel my workout. I WAS SO ANGSTY.

Saturday I was sneak-reading all day in between doing other things until finally I decided: DRUNK READING TIME:

I started drinking at the same time that I started the scene after the art show in the bathroom. For those that haven’t read it yet, holy shit. I needed a drink after that, so it was a good thing I had one. The memory of that scene is making me a little hot….[FANS SELF]. The sex scenes in these books are assuredly NOT VANILLA. and i loved every second of it. They are off the charts hot. You want kinky fuckery? C.D. Reiss shows you some kinky fuckery.

A good portion of the storyline is about Jonathan hiding issues from his past and him keeping Monica from meeting with Jessica (his ex wife) to find out what exactly he’s hiding. Monica thinks she’s protecting Jonathan – Jonathan has his own plan. Too bad Monica is only submissive in the bedroom. This causes a little….shall we say, friction?

This series is an emotional rollercoaster. The anticipation of what is going to happen and then what actually happens causes you to gasp and scream but ultimately throw up your hands and go along for the ride.

OH.AND THE TEA SCENE. HOLY FUCK. HOLY FUCK. HOLY FUCK.

Being as how I started #drunkreading at 5:30, I started to fade around 9pm…

BUT I MANAGED TO FINISH.

This series has everything you could ever want in a good erotica novel: depth of characters, really really hot tie-me-up/spank me/bruise me sex, a bit of mystery, a strong independent woman and a complicated, conflicted yet undeniably loving man. AND it’s a mixed POV book. I really enjoyed reading from both Monica and Jonathan’s perspective. My only critique is that by the end of Sing, I really wanted a bit more right before the two year gap. I understand that there was a cliffhanger for a reason, but I felt that the ending was a little bit rushed. Which is probably hilarious to say since the series is lengthy. Maybe I wasn’t ready for it to end? That’s a possibility too, but I don’t know, I just wanted a little something more there. The 8th companion read – Dominance – gives you a bit more, so for that I’m thankful.

If you’re not into a Dom/Sub theme with spanking or a little pain in your sex scenes, you’re not going to like these books. But if you’ve been craving it and haven’t found THAT combined with a good storyline then look no further. THIS SERIES HAS EVERYTHING. ALL THE STUFF. My heart dropped out of my chest, exploded with excitement, and filled with love. This series is one you’ll want to keep for yourself but you know it needs to be shared So, Get it. Read it. Tell your friends. Jump on that emotional rollercoaster.

Reaction/Review: Captivated By You

Author:   Sylvia Day

Book:     Captivated By You

Series:    Crossfire, book 4

tl;dr recommendation:    Perfection. Utter perfection.

Longer Review/Reaction:

In case you’ve been living under an erotica rock, the incredibly anticipated fourth book in the Crossfire series was released last Tuesday. Now, I don’t get excited about much. Really. I’m trying to think of the last time I was this excited for something and I can’t. I mean, I guess I should probably say my wedding, but I was too nervous about dealing with all-of-the-people-who-should-probably-never-be-in-a-room-together to be super excited. I’m only sort of joking. (side note, my husband swears I lack a sense of humor – of course, I think I’m hilarious. Agree to disagree).

ANYWAY, last Monday I was vibrating with excitement. I took off work on Tuesday (which backfired since I ended up working this weekend, but it was WORTH IT). I stopped at Sheetz on the way home and stocked up on caffeine. I worked out.

I got my snacks out. I watched three episodes of Mike&Molly with my husband. I had my Kindle fucking charged. And then midnight happened. AND NOTHING. holy shit. Amazon is super lucky it doesn’t have brick and mortar stores. I was attempting to be calm but was frankly failing miserably. My husband asked if maybe they released it on West Coast time. I figured, I don’t know – l’ll ask:

@amazonkindle do you auto release books on west coast time?! The east coast gal is dying for #CaptivatedByYou

— Heather (@OWMyshelf) November 18, 2014

I got an answer:

@owmyshelf While there is no specific time a book is released, newly released books will be sent out on their release date. ^JY — Kindle Help (@KindleHelp) November 18, 2014

SERIOUSLY?! SERIOUSLY?! That’s blasphemy. Lesson learned. I will try to be less psychotic next time (this is doubtful). Regardless, I decided to try to sleep for a few hours and then see if it appeared. I managed 2 1/2 hours.

I know I spelled words wrong. Don’t judge me. IT WAS 3AM.

Sigh. Let me tell you how good this series is. Gideon is basically the most imperfect perfect human being in existence and I spent my time mentally yelling at Eva not to fuck it up. I’m certain that’s probably not how it’s supposed to be read, but I’m a little biased. Good God. I almost forget perhaps the best part: We get to read in Gideon’s point of view. Basically fucking amazing. I squealed. I swooned. I fangirled.

The book picks up after Eva and Gideon get back from their wedding and very brief honeymoon. They have to deal with Brett & Corinne & Anne & Magdalene. Cary has to deal with his impending baby (I am convinced that either 1) she’s not actually pregnant; or 2) the baby isn’t his – also, calm down. No spoilers, we don’t find this out) and Eva and Gideon are still trying to make this thing work. OH. We do find out what happened to Megumi!!! I mean, I probably shouldn’t put exclamation points after that….considering.

I spent the better part of three months prior to this release petrified that Eva was going to cheat on Gideon with Brett. Lovely Sylvia’s release of the first three chapters did absolutely nothing to quell my fear. I promised my best friend I wouldn’t give spoilers, but just know that I’m ok with how things went down. You can calm down too. It’ll be ok.

I read a comment by a reader who claimed that the book was terrible because “nothing happened.” I’m sorry. Did we read the same book? ALL THE STUFF HAPPENED. Of course, you don’t get closure and that’s incredibly frustrating, but that’s also expected because, hello: Book 5 (One With You). However, Sylvia writes beautifully. She captures the love of Gideon and Eva while they continue to stumble through their complex relationship. And I once again fell in love with these characters. Their heat and connection is undeniable and I feel a little silly for being so concerned about whether I was going to love this book as much as the other three.

My little sleep was totally worth it. Of course, I couldn’t fall asleep to save my life after I finished the book at 7am. But thank fuck I planned ahead and took the day off. Totally worth it. This series is like sitting next to a warm fire with a cup of coffee on a rainy day: ahhhh, utter perfection.

Review: The Driven Trilogy

Author:     K. Bromberg
(one of the nicest, kindest, most genuinely awesome authors I’ve ever interacted with, as an FYI)
Series:       Driven Trilogy
Books in Series:

Driven
Fueled
Crashed
Raced (novella – scenes from Colton’s view)

The tl;dr recommendation: READ THESE MOTHERFUCKING BOOKS.

Longer Review:

If you know me IRL, or have followed me on twitter, or read an ounce of this blog, you know I have a slight obsession with Gideon Cross. He is to whom I compare all other book boyfriends – he is, as my best friend says, a perfect fucking filet mignon. I mean, minus the murder and whatnot. Seriously, it just goes to show how amazingly developed of a character he is that a murder is committed, Gideon is implicated, and yet he remains No. 1 on my book boyfriend list. [let me take this moment to beg: please sylvia, please don’t throw him off of my pedestal].

How does this have anything to do with the Driven Trilogy?! Well, this is all relevant because I’ve been biding my time until Captivated by You is released [November 18th!!!!!]. I’ve been reading whatever books I can to fill the gap until November 10th (the day on which I am allowing myself to start re-reading Crossfire. I HAVE A TYPE-A PERSONALITY #sorrynotsorry). Anyway, I had just finished reading another erotica trilogy and was scrolling through Amazon and I randomly came across Driven. I read the Amazon summary and I hit ‘buy’ because the plotline reflects what I crave in these books. “There is no such thing as a moral or an immoral book. Books are well written, or badly written. That is all.” [Thanks, Oscar Wilde].

I know what I like, and I don’t care if I get shit for continually seeking out the ‘bad/troubled boy meets strong girl that breaks through his shell’ plotline. I don’t care because I’ll keep buying them and I hope that the authors keep writing them. And because if they’re done well, the books can be great. I mean, go pick on authors who keep writing dystopian novels or something. Leave my erotica authors alone.

So, I buy Driven. I start reading, and I have to take a break because I had to attend my cousin’s wedding. Well, fuck. [the wedding was awesome, btw]. And yet, I somehow still managed to read FOUR BOOKS in TWO DAYS. Seriously. My husband was less than pleased, but the books are really that good. [“are you seriously reading another book?! really?!”….”uh. yes.”]

babyreadintense

So, on to the books:

Colton Donovan (bad boy) has A Chance Encounter with Rylee Thomas [#seewhatididthere?!]. Colton is a CEO and driver of a racing team, Colton Donovan Enterprises. Anyway, so they meet and he’s a massive douchebag. He’s arrogant. conceited. and unbelievably challenging. And, well, Rylee challenges the fuck out of him – is quite witty, snarky, and strongwilled – and Colton does something he’s never done before…pursues a woman.

Rylee has some issues of her own that need sorting out – but I think these pale in comparison to many of the issues that Colton harbors. The two cannot stay away from one another, yet have difficulty communicating (unless they’re fucking) because each of their expectations, desires, and preconceived notions of what each is looking for clash loudly every time that they try. The series tells a love story about breaking through walls and building up trust and love. About what happens when they let each other in and let love rule all.

letmeloveyou

K. Bromberg does an amazing job of creating tag lines and themes that are littered throughout the series. They make me smile and really solidify the series for me. I don’t want to give out spoilers – so I won’t – just know that this series is the entire fucking alphabet – A to motherfucking Z.

AtoZ

I won’t be able to think of Cotton Candy or racing or red pocket squares or listen to Pink ever again without thinking of this series….Fuckin’ Pink. I’ve read a couple of erotica novels this year (last count, I’m at uhhh…..38) so when I say that this series is good, I really really mean it. The romance, K. Bromberg’s writing, Colton’s loyalty/issues/breaththroughs, the fact that there’s an actual plot (that’s really good!) and the alpha male dominance all push Colton to compete for that top slot. Colton and Rylee’s chemistry is incredibly hot, the scenes are well written, and I could not get enough of them. Well done K. Bromberg, well done.

welldoneslowclap

If you’ve like Fifty Shades of Grey, Crossfire, The Breathless Trilogy, the Stark Trilogy, or any series along those lines, I highly recommend…I actually think that the Driven Trilogy isn’t getting the noise that it deserves – I’m clearly a little bit obsessed.

I’m also super pissed that this series was not in any of my Amazon recommendations. AMAZON, DO YOU NOT KNOW ME AT ALL?! That has to be remedied somehow –

but seriously…Fuckin’ Pink.

fuckinpink

List: The last 10

**********************UPDATE: ok internet. I lied. I missed four books. books that fit nicely between 3 and 4. They are….

The Fixed Trilogy – Laurelin Page

Hudson – Laurelin Page

How could I have forgotten FOUR BOOKS?! One answer is because I became so swept up in the perfectness of Gideon Cross nothing else mattered (that’s actually quite possible). However, that truth is also mixed in the fact that I was SO PISSED after reading these books that I needed to move on to something. anything. That doesn’t mean the books sucked – I was just utterly pissed off. Thank God that fourth book was written or else I would have seriously been in a mood (and I was). for days. until I found Gideon. on second thought, I should probably thank Laurelin for the great workouts these books fueled.
**********************

so we get a feel for each other, let’s talk about the last ten books i’ve read (the most recent one being #1). I’ll be sure to give you my thoughts on them later-ish. but let’s get the awkward intro out of the way, shall we?

1.    Entwined With You – Sylvia Day

2.    Reflected In You – Sylvia Day

3.    Bared To You – Sylvia Day

is now a good time to ask when Captivated by You comes out, Sylvia? No? ok. I’ll leave that the the hundreds of people on twitter & facebook who ask everyday. don’t block me. i’m just worried – it’s the same feeling I get when I think about what would happen if i didn’t have life insurance on my husband and something should happen to him. i mean, what am i going to do?! it’s slightly irrational and everything, but really. you’re being safe, right? eat right. exercise. let’s get out books 4&5. ok thanks. I mean, it’s not like these are technically also 4-6 since I read them twice. in a row.

while I’ll go deeper into these later, let’s just say that if Eva cheats on Gideon with Brett in San Diego or wherever the hell she goes I will fucking hunt her down. Not that I’m invested or anything. Not at all. #Gideonisperfect

4.    Fifty Shades Freed – EL James

5.    Fifty Shades Darker – EL James

6.    Fifty Shades of Grey – EL James

Christian is wonderful, he is, but he’s no Gideon. More on this later. #stowyourtwitchypalm. and I may have read these three times. each. in a row. my husband is a lucky man.

7.    All seven Harry Potter books – JK Rowling

I cheated. I’m aware. but then I would have cut off my list in mid-series. that’s not right, is it? and i know I’m TEN YEARS LATE with like this entire list. Give me a break, I was in law school for part of that.

8.    Will Grayson, Will Grayson – John Green

9.    Paper Towns – John Green

10.  Looking for Alaska – John Green

bonus 11.  The Fault in Our Stars

ok, had to finish the grouping. Do you sense a theme here?

Generally, I pick an author and devour everything I can find. I know a book is good when my husband angrily stares at me and declares that I haven’t said more than fourteen words to him all day. SORRY I’M NOT SORRY. So, now you know me a little better. Let’s go out again, yes?
