1de41-excerpt

“Don’t move,” I commanded as I nipped at her ear. “You move and I won’t let you come. Do you understand?”
She let out a heavy breath and nodded slowly.
Lowering myself down her body, I trailed my hand down her tits as I once again lowered my head to her pussy. Spreading her lips, I could see her pulsing with need as she tried not to raise her pussy to my face. Gripping her thighs, I lowered my head down again when she stopped moving, flicking at her clit in a fast speed before inserting two fingers to pump into her. She let out a gasp as I curved my finger into her g-spot, and I knew it was taking all of her control not to move her body into mine for more friction.
Flicking my tongue a few more times, I pulled back and stopped pumping my fingers as soon as I felt the walls of her pussy start to clench. She groaned in frustration as the need took over her senses.
Her breathing slowed and I resumed my position, sucking on her clit and causing her to buck into me. Although I’d usually pull away, my own arousal was starting to take over. My hips were moving on their own accord, looking for friction against the bed. I groaned into her pussy as her heavy breathing turned into deep moans.
Keeping at my assault on the bed, I removed my fingers and lowered my mouth to lick up her juices, running my tongue from her entrance to her clit. She groaned every time I flicked at her clit lightly, causing me to pump into the bed faster. I knew if I kept it up, I’d end up releasing in my pants.
I needed to be inside her.
I let go of her legs, moving them off my shoulders, and climbed off the bed. I watched as she clamped her legs closed trying to get some friction for her aching pussy, an ache only I could soothe.
“I’m going to fuck you now, princess,” I told her as I undid my belt and dropped my pants to the floor.

I’ve had a passion for reading and writing for as long as I can remember. It has always been an escape for one reason or another. Now, I’m taking that passion and turning it into a book. My debut book Lifeless will be released late summer 2013. I can’t wait for you to read this story that has been brewing in my head for over a year. 🙂

Review: Darker Than Desire by Shiloh Walker

Author: Shiloh Walker

Book: Darker Than Desire (Secrets & Shadows #3)

Other Books in Series:

Deeper Than Need (#1)
Sweeter Than Sin (#2)

tl;dr recommendation: Major points for originality + mystery. It was a pretty slow start, but overall a good read.

Book Summary:

The only thing he knows for sure is that he will do anything to keep Sybil in his life…and keep her coming back for more…

Longer Review:

Full disclosure: I haven’t read any of the other books in this series; but each is touted as a standalone, so I didn’t think I would be at too much of a disadvantage. I felt that I picked up on the relationships of the characters pretty well, so it can be done.

Have you ever read an Amish erotica, mystery novel? No? WELL I NOW HAVE. We’re immediately thrust into David’s world where he has been staying and hiding in plain sight with the Amish for the past twenty years. He and a girl, Lana, disappeared one night twenty years ago from the nearby town. The same night David’s parent’s were killed. No one knew what happened to them and after a vigil was held their disappearance fell off the radar.

However, twenty years later, strange things are happening both in town & in the Amish community. David realizes that it’s time to come out of hiding and face whatever demons his past is dishing up to serve him. However, even though he believes he’s a broken shell of a man, he refuses to bring Sybil into the line of fire. She’s the only person left alive who he actually feels anything for. David is somewhat cold and calculating, a leftover result of the horrors he was treated to as a child.

Sybil, his sort-of-girlfriend for the past ten years, is much smarter than David gives her credit for. She knows what’s going on – knows all of David’s secrets, even without him telling her – and she has stuck it out with the scraps he’s thrown her for the past ten years. I really liked Sybil on the whole. I thought she was sexy, smart and could hold her own. I went back and forth on David. I just really wanted him to get his shit together.

The book was really slow moving for me for the first 60% or so. I don’t know if it’s because the POV changed so often and I got confused (because that definitely happened) or if the dialogue was slow or what. I think it was a combination of those things that really had me struggling for the first part of the book. There are some seriously hot sex scenes, but there were a lot more David talking to the police/David in a field/David brooding alone/David talking to his elders scenes. I don’t need a book to be all sex (in fact, I happen to enjoy a plot) but there was just SO MUCH going on that I was spending so much time connecting the dots and the characters and locations that I think I was missing the story. However, as the mystery and the drama heats up in the book I began to become more invested and the second half of the book flew by.

The ending will definitely satisfy you and overall, this is a good mystery/romance read that was so original I could hardly believe what I was reading.

Review: Last Light by M. Pierce

Author: M. Pierce

Book: Last Light

Other Books in Series:

Night Owl (#1) – reviewed here
After Dark (#3) – coming soon on 3/24/15!

tl;dr recommendation: This is dark romance at its finest.

Book Summary:

Matt Sky is missing. After a solo ascent of Longs Peak that left only a large blood stain, tatters of climbing clothing, and the tracks of an animal in the snow, he is presumed dead …

Hannah Catalano is guarding a secret …

Tensions rise, secrets grow bigger, and passions run deeper in the highly anticipated second book in the Night Owl Trilogy.

Longer Review:

If you’re just joining in, you  need to go read Night Owl before you pick up this book. Why are you still here? GO now!

The second book of the Night Owl Trilogy floored me. Matt has faked his death and is hiding out up in the mountains while Hannah has to pretend to be the grieving girlfriend. She knows he’s alive but the world believes him to be dead. Matt will tell you that he faked his own death because he wanted to stay out of the spotlight and that he couldn’t take the invasion of his privacy any more…that’s part of the truth, of course, but we all know how much Matt LOVES TO LIE. He’s utterly pathological.

It was nice to know that death hadn’t stopped Matt’s manipulative, assholery ways. I couldn’t stop hating him. and I couldn’t stop loving him. If you’re looking for a redeeming male hero, you’re not really going to find it in Matt. Maybe .5% of what he does is redeeming – the remaining 95.5% of his actions scream: egotistical narcissistic FUCKING ASSHOLE. But I loved him. And I loved Hannah. AHHH. How could this book make me ache so deeply for such a tortured, psychotic soul? I want to wrap Matt in my arms, hold him captive, slap him to sanity and fuck him into oblivion. WHAT HAS THIS BOOK DONE TO ME?!

As the story unravels, so do Matt’s lies. Hasn’t he learned his lesson in book 1? Nope. He has not. Only this time when the bottom falls out, he doesn’t dive directly into a bottle. phew. I don’t think I could have handled drunk Matt again.

Some people are going to absolutely hate this series, and I can get that. But for the twisted souls, like me, this series is epic. M. Pierce draws you into Matt’s world to a point where the insanity almost makes sense. She also writes a killer sex scene.Three words: Vibrating Cock Ring. While they have lots of sex (I mean LOTS), the book holds a lot more depth. The ending isn’t a huge massive cliffhanger, but it’s definitely enough to make you want to dive into Dark Night – let the craziness continue…

Release Day Review: Professor Cline: Revealed by J.M. LaRocca

Author: J.M. LaRocca

Book: Professor Cline: Revealed (Professor #1)

tl;dr recommendation: dark, twisted & filthy. I loved every second.

Book Summary:

Getting pleasure from pain makes me a sadist. I’ve been that way for as long as I can remember. Plagued by painful memories and a dark past, I use women to help me forget. I’ve done everything in my power to take control of my life, but there are some things I have no control over.

People think they know who I am, but in reality, they know nothing.

My name is Mason Cline.

But after today, you will call me Professor Cline.

Longer Review:

Oh fuck, guys – this book is so good. If you’ve been craving a dark romance, then you need to read this. I’m completely invested in Mason and Emma. Somehow even Mason’s demons are attractive. Will the darkness engulf him? Will he be able to face that part of his life to open himself up to a future with Emma? GOD I NEED TO KNOW.

You quickly discover that Mason Cline is a Professor of Criminal Law at NYU. Emma is a 1L (sorry, that’s first year law student for you non-lawyers out there) and is focused on being a perfect student so that she can become a great lawyer. She just got out of a relationship where Perfect Boyfriend turned out to be Utter Asshole and as she’s trying to figure out her next steps, Mason swoops in.

Emma & Mason meet prior to Emma starting her first day while Emma is waitressing. Needless to say when she walks into her first criminal law class she practically trips over herself to find her seat. There’s a connection between Emma and Mason that can’t be ignored. Mason recognizes that it’s dangerous (for reasons only he knows) and Emma recognizes that it’s potentially complicated, but neither of them want to/can stop it.

Quick disclaimer: don’t let this book give you the wrong idea about law school. Not one of my professors was EVER as attractive as Mason. ever. Truth: law school is a big bag of suck.

The storyline flips between Mason, Emma and Mason as a child. Each POV transitions really well and adds a lot of depth to the story. In Mason’s childhood chapters we start to break open the box as to why he is so fucked up…He’s been destroyed by his father, who is a Certifiable Sociopath (and also one of the most respected lawyers in his field – this was not shocking to me). We know that Dad’s an asshole early on, but what we don’t know is WHY and HOW. When I began to find out the answers to both of those questions my mouth visibly dropped open. This is fucked up, people. But it starts to click why Mason is so aloof, regimented and mercurial. It’s SO GOOD.

Btw, Emma’s no pushover and I loved that about her. She stands up for herself when she needs to and speaks her mind. She rocks. I love when she looks Mason in the eyes and tells him that he can’t treat her like a whore. OHMYGOD I CHEERED. Fuck yes, Emma. FUCK YES.

Overall, an amazing new series that I’m now a little obsessed with. ahhh, this is need-book-two-immediately good. I’m not above begging.
