Join us to celebrate Jillian Dodd's upcoming release

Blurb:

Hollywood actress, Ashlyn Roberts, just had the worst week of her life. Her ex released a sex tape of them and just when she was convinced her current boyfriend was a keeper for standing by her side, he breaks up with her at a friend’s wedding. She’s planning to drown her sorrows in booze when she meets a sexy stranger as she’s leaving the wedding and they end up in Vegas, married.

Cash Crawford is offered a dream job working with his brother as a junior talent agent. He’ll put his shiny new law degree to good use and make a bunch of money in the process. His first task is simple: Keep Ashlyn Roberts out of trouble and don’t sleep with her.

Which might be kind of tough, since they definitely consummated their Vegas wedding.

Will this one night stand end in the quickie divorce they promised each other? Or will they realize they got lucky in love?

Author Interview Jillian Dodd for Vegas Love

Describe your main character in five words.

Cash Crawford: Sexy. Sweet. Smart. Adorable. Attorney.

How long does it take you to write a book?

It really depends on the book. That Baby, required a lot of research, so it took me six months to write. My character was pregnant and journaled how she was feeling, which not only had to tie into the story but be factual. In That Wedding, I worked with a wedding planner to plan the wedding, just so that I could write about it in detail.

The fastest I have ever written a first draft is four weeks, but I had been working that book in my head for quite some time.

What was on of the most surprising things you learned in writing Vegas Love?

I researched marriage law and learned their marriage license bureau is open 365 days a year from 8am – midnight.

Can you share a little of your current work with us?

Right now, I’m writing Money, book 10 of The Keatyn Chronicles series. In this book, we get a new point of view from a gold digger named Shelby. She’s been really fun to write.

I give his crotch a squeeze as I get up. Maybe we should skip dinner and go straight to dessert.”

He chases after me, slapping my ass. Why don’t I let room service in while you go get naked?”

Sounds like a plan,” I tell him.

I go into the bedroom and strip, but then decide to put on the new lingerie I bought. It’s not the sex-store stuff I usually wear, but rather a gorgeous silk and lace chemise. My boobs spill out of the top and the short skirt rides up my ass. He will love it. Especially when he sees what I ordered for dinner.

This is an interesting meal,” he says, carrying the tray of chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate sauce, and freshly made whipped cream. You’re not naked.”

And what do you think of that?”

He brushes his hand across the silk. It’s too pretty to get covered in chocolate. Take if off.” I do ask he asks. I love when he’s bossy and commanding. Now, undress me. Cover me with something on this tray and eat it off.”

I strip off the lingerie and am unzipping his pants when his phone rings.

He looks at the number and says, I need to take this,” and steps out of the room.

I carefully ease the door open just a bit so I can hear.

And based on the gentle tone of his voice, I know he’s talking to her.

And we can’t have that.
